The exhibition traces a search for the most expressive artistic language: Polina invites visitors into her Space of Intermediality.

Polina Enuvesta
Polina Enuvesta's practice is primarily focused on the space in between—between poetic practices, sociological practices, traditional Eastern practices, and the practices of organizing digital environments.
In sociological surveys, respondents often receive no feedback; they have no opportunity to learn what their answers influenced, and they are used merely as a resource for achieving someone else’s goals. In this sense, the practice of surveying is parasitic and manipulative, because the respondent receives nothing in return for the information provided and participates in order to feel important and needed. Polina creates surveys in which this element of manipulation—appealing to the respondent’s sense of self-importance—has been removed. The participant is placed in a situation where their opinions change the state of the system and, through the generated images, affect the participant themself. In this way, Polina reintroduces a feedback loop into the practice of surveying, using generative tools that perform computations in real time.
Polina’s practice often features images of human hands and palms, as well as the hand as the primary mode of interaction with the digital environment, particularly with external extensions of the body. Mudras and rituals become a single point of access to the body’s energy and to the functions of these external extensions. If yoga practice is viewed from a cybernetic perspective, then asanas and mudras function as a kind of interface through which consciousness interacts with the body’s internal energy flows. In this way, internal energy streams are linked with the information flows of the digital environment.

В практике Полины Энувесты основным фокусом является пространство между - поэтическими практиками, социологическими практиками, традиционными восточными практиками и практиками организации цифровых сред.
В социологических опросах респондент часто не получает обратную связь, не имеет возможности узнать на что повлияли его ответы и используется просто как ресурс для достижения чужих целей. Таким образом практика опросов является паразитической и манипулятивной, потому что респондент не получает ничего взамен на предоставленную информацию, и участвует, чтобы почувствовать, что он важен и нужен.
Полина создает такие опросы, в которых элемент манипуляции на чувстве собственной важности респондента изъят. Участник помещается в ситуацию, в которой его мнения изменяют состояние системы и через генерируемые образы влияют на него самого. Таким способом Полина возвращает в практику опросов цикл обратной связи, используя для этого генеративные инструменты, производящие вычисления в режиме реального времени.

It is a multimedia project at the intersection of event design and digital art. The performative tea serving is a reimagination of Chinese tea practice with the means of interactive light projection and real-time animation. The idea originates from an intersection of two different interests that I have dwelled on during recent years.
